What’s the difference between the Vitodens 100-W and 200-W?
Both are wall-mounted condensing boilers with a stainless steel heat exchanger. The 200-W is the premium model, with the MatriX-Plus burner and Lambda Pro combustion control that self-adjusts to gas quality. The 100-W is the value model and also comes as a combi (B1KE).
Can a Viessmann boiler supply my hot water?
Yes. The Vitodens 100-W combi makes hot water on demand, and any Vitodens can be paired with a Vitocell indirect tank for larger hot water demand.
Will it fit in a small mechanical room or closet?
Usually. Vitodens boilers are wall-hung and compact, and zero clearance to combustibles makes them a real option in tight mechanical closets.
Does it need yearly maintenance?
Yes. Plan on an annual service: combustion check, heat exchanger and burner inspection, condensate trap cleaning, and a check of the controls. The Total Care Club keeps it on schedule.
What warranty comes with a Viessmann?
