Where are Laars boilers made?
Laars is a Bradford White company, and the FT Series is built in Rochester, New Hampshire. Being close by means parts and factory support are easy to get on the South Shore.
Which FT Series model is right for my home?
The wall combi handles heat and hot water in a tight space. The floor combi is for homes that need more hot water or have no wall space. The heat-only floor boiler pairs with an indirect tank and is a common replacement for older Laars Endurance boilers.
Can the FT Series vent through my existing chimney?
Condensing boilers can’t use an unlined masonry chimney. The FT Series offers several venting options, including long vent runs and sidewall venting, and we pick the one that fits your house and local code.
Does it need yearly maintenance?
Yes. Plan on an annual service: combustion analysis, heat exchanger inspection, condensate trap cleaning, and a check of the controls and safeties. The Total Care Club keeps it on schedule.
What warranty comes with the FT Series?
The full warranty is in the Laars warranty document above. We register the boiler for you, and you can also register it on Laars’ website.
