Privacy Policy
Effective August 25, 2026. This policy explains what 3R Plumbing & Mechanical LLC collects when you visit this site, call us, or hire us, and what we do with it.
3R Plumbing & Mechanical LLC (“3R,” “we,” “us”) is a residential plumbing, heating, and cooling contractor located at 77 Accord Park Drive, Suite D6, Norwell, MA 02061. We operate this website and serve homeowners on the South Shore of Massachusetts.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you request service, book online, submit a form, or call, we collect your name, service address, phone number, email address, and a description of the problem. For scheduled work we also keep records of equipment at the property, work performed, permits pulled, invoices, and payment status.
Information collected automatically. Our web host and analytics tools record standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site or advertisement that referred you. If you arrived from an online advertisement, the referring URL may carry a click identifier that lets us connect your visit to that advertisement.
Photographs and job documentation. Our technicians photograph work areas, equipment data plates, and completed installations as part of normal job documentation, for permitting, warranty, and rebate purposes.
Phone Numbers and Call Tracking
The phone number displayed on this site may change depending on how you reached us. We use call tracking so we can tell which advertising and referral sources actually generate calls. Whichever number you see rings our office. When you call, we record the number you dialed, your caller ID, the date and time, and the length of the call, and we connect that to the marketing source that brought you here.
Calls to and from our office may be recorded or monitored for quality and training. Massachusetts law requires the consent of every party to a recorded call, so if a call is being recorded you will be told at the start of that call and may decline.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, measure traffic, remember which phone number was shown to you, and measure advertising performance. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them may affect how parts of this site function.
How We Use Information
- Scheduling, dispatching, and performing the work you requested
- Quoting, invoicing, and collecting payment
- Pulling permits and scheduling municipal inspections
- Submitting manufacturer warranty registrations and Mass Save or utility rebate paperwork on your behalf
- Appointment reminders, arrival notifications, and follow-up about work we performed
- Maintenance reminders and membership plan communications
- Inviting you to leave a review after a completed job
- Understanding which advertising works so we spend responsibly
- Meeting our legal, tax, licensing, and insurance obligations
Calls, Texts, and Email
When you give us your phone number to request service, you agree that we may call and text you about that request and the resulting job, including automated appointment and arrival notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop service messages, or tell our office and we will remove you.
SMS customer care and marketing notifications are separate and require your express opt-in. You may opt in by checking the box on a form on this site where you provide your phone number, or by telling our office. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS marketing does not stop notifications about work in progress.
Marketing calls and emails are also separate. We send those only where we are permitted to, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the business:
- Service and dispatch software that holds our customer records, scheduling, and invoicing
- Website hosting, online booking, and chat providers that operate parts of this site
- Analytics and advertising platforms that measure site traffic and advertising performance
- Payment processors that handle card transactions. We do not store full card numbers
- Financing partners, if you choose to apply for financing. Those applications are governed by that lender’s own privacy policy and terms
- Review platforms, to send a review invitation after a completed job
- Municipalities and utilities, for permits, inspections, and rebate processing
- Equipment manufacturers, for warranty registration and warranty claims
- Professional advisors and insurers, and government authorities where the law requires it
SMS Opt-In Data and Consent
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
How Long We Keep It
We keep customer and job records for as long as we need them for the purposes above and to satisfy our tax, warranty, permitting, licensing, and insurance obligations. Service history in particular is worth keeping: knowing what was installed at a property and when is how we diagnose the next problem quickly.
Your Choices
Call us at (781) 974-5239 or email info@3rplumbingandmechanical.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, stop marketing contact, or request deletion. We will respond within a reasonable time. Some records we are required to retain regardless of a deletion request, such as permit and tax records, and we will tell you if that applies.
Residents of states with specific privacy laws may have additional rights. Contact us using the details above and we will handle your request under the law that applies to you.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Job Applicants and Employees
If you apply for a job with us, your information is handled under our Applicant Privacy Notice rather than this policy. Parts of this site are password-protected areas for our employees and are not intended for the public.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our business or the tools we use change. The effective date at the top will tell you when it last changed.
