How often should an oil burner be cleaned?
Once a year, ideally before heating season. Oil burns dirtier than gas, so soot builds up and efficiency drops if it’s skipped.
What’s included in boiler service?
We clean and adjust the burner, test combustion and safety controls, and check pressure, the expansion tank, the relief valve and the circulator. Oil boilers also get a new nozzle and filter.
How much does a heating tune-up cost?
